The aim of the #homesforall project was to highlight the ongoing problem that is hidden homelessness and remove the stigma of being homeless.
We believe no one should be without a home, we wanted to help individuals make a house a home.
The project tried to help any individual referred to it so that the transition from being homeless to finding their new home is that bit easier. On this project we help

Why not “Learn a Little and Laugh A lot” at the New 2 You 4Rs Workshop with our expert tutors.
This training program runs for 6 weeks in Upcycling, Joinery or White Goods Diagnostic and repair courses.
Upcycling involves fixing a piece of furniture to give it a new lease of life.
Joinery involves learning 3 types of joints and making a stool using what has been learnt.
White Goods, diagnostic and repair gave people the skills to learn what to do in a situation where their white goods machine has stopped working.

Between February and June 2023, the 4Rs, NI Housing Executive and CFM collaborated to pilot the ‘Pay It Forward’ project in order to ascertain if there was a need for such an initiative. During the course of this initiative, The 4Rs received furniture items from NIHE void properties, and looked to donate as much as we could to aid people who were in need of furniture.
The 4Rs were able to assist 18 tenants move into their new homes with essential furniture to help them get started.

Pilot project between the 4Rs and a local school teacher to upcycle old IT devices to donate to families and school children to help them continue their at-home studies during the Covid-19 lockdown.
